Def. in error claims he is entitled by law to 41 bushels of wheat unlawfully detained by the plaintiff in error. Def. complains that he entered into an agreement with the plaintiff to rent a portion of his land to grow wheat. The terms of the agreement call for one third of the harvested wheat to be shared with the plaintiff as payment, however, the defendant claims the plaintiff kept one half. |

Additional plaintiff: J. M. Kiser. Additional def: J. W. Braden. Kellum won a previous judgment against Williamson for the replevin of a four horse wooden wagon. After said judgment, Kellum and Williamson entered into negotiations for the settlement of the issue. It appears that Kellum may have been indebted to Williamson. Kellum offered to return said wagon in exchange for dismissal of said debt. Williamson initially agreed but continued his appeal for damages after the return of the wagon. |

In December, 1921 J. W. Young sold 10 bales of cotton to E. M. McNamee. McNamee issued payment with two checks: 367.16 and 346.42. When Young deposited the checks at the Bank of Saulsbury, they were refused for payment. McNamee placed the cotton in the warehouse of the defendant and receipts have been issued in the name of Harris -Cortner co. for 8 bales and 2 bales in the name of Weil Bros. Complainant avers that he is the owner of the cotton and is entitled to full use of such. |

Plaintiffs claimed that Miles C. Mayes and R. P. Dodson who were partners in Mayes & Dodson wrongfully held and detained these animals. |

James E. Thompson of Knox county let a friend borrow his car to drive to Cocke county. While in Cocke county the friend wrecked the car and it had to be towed to the garage operated by Art Fisher. The friend told Fisher the car was not his and he could not authorize repairs. Fisher dismantled the car anyways and would not release the car to Thompson unless he paid a $65.00 repair charge. |
