Curry bought nitroglycerin under the pretense of blowing up rock in a well. He was then accused of attempting to destroy the bank in Harriman. Curry was identified by several witnesses because of the peculiar shape of his ears. Curry set up the materials to explode, but the explosion failed. The liquid nitro remained on the scene where it was discovered the next morning. |
