View Entry | 1876 | H. H. Ingersoll, Assignee v. D. W. C. Seuter, et al. | Loudon | Land, sale of |
I. C. Grant made a deed in trust to A.D. Rhea, as security for creditor Warham Easley, partner in Easley & Jones. Grant & his wife then sold land to Easley, a part of Rhea's trust deed. Easley paid off the debt, Grant conveyed the land but did not pay off Rhea's trust deed. Easley had his own debts, & tried to get money from Grant through the law suit. The connection of Ingersoll and Seuter to Rhea, Easley, and Grant is unclear. |
