Louiza Hall is James Hall's wife and John T. and Margaret Carmichael, minors, were Louiza's children by her first marriage with Daniel L. Carmichael, dec. Hall suing defendants over sale of land by Louiza to James H. Carmichael 2 days before their marriage of which he was entitled to by marriage. Hall wanted said sale be declared fraudulent and void and he restored to all legal rights to land. |

Rowan was sold a tract of land from W. Cunningham, which was subject to a lien and an injunction was awarded to keep them from selling the land to avoid debts. |

The plaintiffs sold and conveyed to the defendant Sampson a tract of land for payment of $600, with faith they would receive the money through time. Sampson then conveyed the same land to W. Brock for a mule worth $70 and $600 in Confederate money. The plaintiffs filed the bill after no money was paid by Sampson and the Confederate money he was paid was illegal and worthless and the mule belonged to another person. The plaintiffs want the money promised them as Sampson had no payment from Brock. |
