Another: John E. Robertson. Addtl def.: James H. Maxwell, Revenue Collector for Morristown, "a corporation municipal". Carriger and Robertson owned lots along Main Street in- and outside the limits of Morristown, however, after an expansion of the town limits, all of their lots fall within the boundaries. Per the act expanding the town, lots for farming are not taxable until turned into town lots. Maxwell, as rep. for M&A, advertised the sale of said properties due to unpaid taxes. |
