Defendant employed by Pinnacle Mills from 1 Jan. 1927 until June 1930. Charged with fraudulently appropriating $8011 in company monies for his own use. Found guilty of "fraudulent breach of trust". Two bank notes were pinned to page 45 of larger Corporation Record Book.

View Entry 1895 State to Use of Morristown Co-Operative Stove Co. v. Robert McFarland Hamblen Breach of Trust

Robert McFarland was a trustee of the Stove Company. He hired a man named Sharp to assist him, & settled his own accounts in court, awarding himself $500+5% commission, paying Sharp $258. He was sued as a trustee for taking too much payment & commission.

Note made by Drury Morris, 19 Feb. 1876, $7,000, re: trust deed. Note transferred to defendants. Harris and D. Morris entered into a complicated deed of sale with the Bank over 105 acres of land. Plaintiff Temple Harris was resident of Jefferson Co. Defendants: S. E. Carmichael, Thomas H. Carmichael, Bank of Bristol.
