John Presly, Jonathan Thomas, Jacob Baring , and Miranda Baring held possession of a tract of land, then Estess took possession of the land in 1849. Brown was a tenant of Baring and paid rent, and Estess rented from Baring in 1862. Apparently Estess attempted to take ownership of the land but had no deed, and was ejected. |
