James. The land was next owned by Col. George Stakes who later sold it to James M. Lewis, Sr. The road obstructed by a fence built by James M. Lewis, Sr. ran from the mouth of Dr. Caster's Lane in Dist. 9 to Cumberland City via Steele's farm. |
