The plaintiff was a slave owned by the defendant (dec.), who treated him more like a child than a slave. The defendant allegedly told the plaintiff that upon his death, the plaintiff should be freed from slavery, which was put in the will. The administ rators of his will later neglected to fulfill the written and willed desires of the deceased for the plaintiff. |
