The plaintiff sued the city for damages after Richard Meyer died as a result of a fall on a steep embankment the city neglected to make safe.

Plaintiff is the administrator of the estate of Glover Wilson (dec.). Plaintiff is sued for $10,000 for a wrongful death at the hands of a conductor employed by the defendant. The plaintiff stated that Wilson attempted to board a passenger car operated by the defendant and when he went to hand his money to the conductor, the conductor then wilfully drew a pistol and fired five shots, killing Wilson without just cause.

The defendant's husband, J. J. Cox, was struck and killed by an automobile operated by the plaintiff.

Chester A. Stetson, who died intestate,was the husband of Nellie M. Stetson. Stetson was killed when a trailer drawn by a motor car operated by the Memphis Street Railway was hit by a freight train of the Illinois Central Railroad. The conductor was negli gent in that he did not look to make sure no other trains were approaching when the trailer car proceeded to cross the tracks of the Illinois Railroad Co. Sueing for $50,000 damages.

Cause of action: $20,000.00 damages for the death of the plaintiff's husband, Phil Henderson. He was driving a wagon and was hit by a train while crossing the tracks.
