Mrs. Parsons widow of W. H. Parsons, Jr., who was killed in FL when the car in which he was riding collided with a car driven by Albert H. Garnier. Garnier was also killed in the accident. American Trust administrator of his estate. Mrs. Parsons suing American Trust for compensatory damages in the wrongful death of her husband. Possible that the Garnier car, which was facing the car in which Parsons was riding, did not dim its lights as required by FL law. See also box 1542

Additional Defendants: Frances, Ralph, Alfred, Dorothy & Robbie Shepard, all minors & children of Jack Shepard. Shepard originally sued Diamond for $25,000 damages in the death of his wife, Rose. She was involved in an accident with Diamond on 6 July 1934 while a passenger in his car. Diamond was driving at excessive speed, lost control & wrecked when he encountered cattle in the road. Rose Shepard died of her injuries 2 days later. Accident took place in GA.

Additional Defendant: Harry Summers. L. A. Mayscy admr. & father of Jonnie Mayscy, age 19, sued for $100,000 damages in the death of his son. Jonnie Mayscy seriously injured when the Chevrolet coupe he was driving was hit by a truck driven by Athol Moore. Mayscy died of blood poisoning ca. 27 Oct. 1934. His father charged the truck that hit him was being driven at excessive speeds & without proper lights. Athol employed by Summers to haul his furniture: Summers an employee of Hickman. 3 folders.

Georgie Bumgardner is sued O.D. Andrews and the General Tire and Rubber Co. for $15,000.00 for the wrongful death of her husband, John Bumgarder. John Bumgardner was killed when a Ford truck in which he was riding collided with the rear of a Ford Sedan occupied by O.D. Andrews. The accident took place on the night of November 2, 1935 on the Knoxville Clinton Pike. Case in two folders in Box 977.
