Glenn had delivered large quantity of pig iron on bank of Little TN to be shipped by steamer Lady of Augusta (a boat from the TN River Mining, Manufacturing and Transportation Co.) to Cincinnatti, OH. Another boat, Union, delivered metal to Nashville & Chattanooga RR on TN River to be forward to Cincinnati. Glenn claims there was more than the 34 tons delivered, worth $200-400. Co. charges it delivered all metal received and nothing above what had been accounted for. |
