A. C. Goodyear brought this suit claiming to be the Trustee in Bankruptcy of the Southern Pharmaceutical Company, a Delaware corporation. In August, 1917 the Pharmaceutical Company filed its voluntary petition in bankruptcy and on 9/1/1917 company was adjudged bankrupt and Goodyear was appointed trustee in bankruptcy. Goodyear filed suit to recover $500.00 of common stock paid to the defendant as a bonus- in order to pay company debts. |

Filed for injunction to prevent any action taken on the real estate before a settlement for the debt could be made. |

The City of Memphis wished to be reimbursed for the salary paid to C.T. Kelly as the votes taken to put him in as Commissioner were made and void. |
