Leming furnished Stevens with lumber to build a house on a lot, now encumbered. Stevens then owed $250. Wm. Doone lathed and plastered the house, Stevens owed him $200. Gilbert Walton performed carpentry, billing $41. The pl's sued to recover amounts due them for work performed for Stevens. See boxes ET 747 for additional documents. |

Welcker ran a mercantile firm called Joseph Welcker & Sons. Staples's husband turned over accounts, land, notes, etc. to the Welckers for money to pay her creditors. Staples then sold the property to other persons, putting the land in others' names in order to defraud his creditors. Suit seeks to recover the money from Staples. |
