William, George & John Simmons were joint owners of a tract of land in Franklin County. In March 1870, they all jointly sold, transferred, and conveyed to the same title bond stipulating to Arledge a bona fide deed. Plaintiffs sued the defendant for failure to pay for the said land and therefore put a lien on the land for the amount owed. |
