View Entry | 1903 | John M. Palmer v. T. C. Cobb | Knox | Failure to Pay |
Palmer owned a tract of land in Knox County which he purchased in 1888, but entered a verbal agreement with Cobb in 1901 whom issued a promissory note for the land. The agreement stated that if Cobb failed to pay the land automatically returned to Palmer. Cobb did fail to pay in full, so Palmer sued to enforce their verbal agreement and reestablish ownership of the land. |
