John Jones and S. H. Jones owned the remainder interest in a tract of land. J. Jones died intestate leaving his children Addie Lee-McDaniel and Fannie B. S.H. Jones died leaving his share to his children Algie and Alice Jones. Defendants deny that J.F. Jones and S.H. Jones made an agreement whereby they partitioned said tract of land between each other and duly established a line between them.

Woodson was an heir of James Walker, and recognized owner of one-half his plot of land. Jones sued to have Woodson's mother removed as heir in Simon Jones, et al. v. Hilda Walker. Woodson is asserting her legal right to half the plot.

Other defendants: H. E. Blazer, deputy sheriff; D. C. Butler, commissioner; D. W. Gorman, commissioner; Gray Sparks, commissioner. Hixson owed milling company $63.83. Other defendants were responsible for selling off her land to satisfy the debt. They set aside a portion of the property as a homestead for Hixson, but she argued that the amount set aside was too small.

In 1861 Neil wrote a promissory note for $1500 to Wiley and his sister Jane Wiley for land he purchased from them. Neil married Jane Wiley, who died shortly after without a leaving a will. The sheriff sold the land to satisfy debts, and Gragg was the purchaser. The land, deed, and debts were transferred a number of times and this suit was filed to legally settle lawful ownership.

Murdoc McDaniel died and partitioned his land among his seven children: Linville McDaniel, John McDaniel, J.T. McDaniel, C.C. Cierly, Ruth Gattis, Mary Rowsey, and Lucy Ann McDaniel. Lucy Ann was "weak minded" and required long-term care. Cierly provided support for Lucy Ann throughout her life. After Lucy Ann's death, Cierly sought to claim the land granted to Lucy Ann. J.T. and Rowsey were the only siblings to not sign off on the transfer of land. Housed in 2 folders.

Ziegler executed a warranty deed to W. M. Holder, father of plaintiff and certain defendants. After W. M. Holder's death, Elridge tried to claim sole ownership of the land and subsequent mortgage from the bank. Plaintiff avers that the number of interests in the property makes it impractical for it to be partitioned by a will.
