The administrator of the estate of Kate Scheurich, the deceased widow of Lorenz, brought suit against the administrator of Lorenz, claiming his inventory of the estate was false. Hesse further claimed that Hemberger had converted parts of the Lorenz estate for his own use and violated his duties.
