Hall and her husband Z. E. Hall owned an REO Flying Cloud Coupe subject to conditional sales contract held by the bank. The Halls charged that McCanless was unlawfully detaining the car for a gambling debt. Mr. Hall stated that he was lured into McCanless's professional gambling house and lost all his money and a $200 check McCanless cashed. |
