Eliza Dix claimed that John Dix fraudulently conveyed a tract of land and some railroad & steamship stocks days before their marriage on Oct. 23, 1875. The ct. was asked to attach this fraudulently conveyed property & issue an injunction. Dix claimed it was property acqr. by her efforts living as his wife prior to marriage. |
