Property dispute between neighbors Mayes and Buchanan pertaining to land located in the 8th Civil District of Williamson County. Plaintiff complains of the destruction of his property and various encroachments onto his land by the defendant. It appears that there was also an earlier ejectment suit brought to settle a boundary controversy. This case may be related to the earlier estate dispute case, "F. H. Mayes v. E. B. Buchanan," located in MT 39a.

Andrews alleges that Mason trying to force him off land that he purchased legally from Andrew Spratt. Property once belonged to Thomas Spratt, ordered sold by court and purchased by Mason. Ownership had been transferred to Andrew S. before sale. Property originally part of NC land grant belonging to Joseph Blythe. File contains copies of grant and deeds.
