O. W. Helms was driving a car while on business for Cosmopolitan Life Insurance Company when he struck and killed Allen Jordan, of whose estate Mattie Sharp is the administratrix. Helms abandoned the car and reported it stolen. Jordan had been living with and supporting Sharp while married to Maud Colvin. Cosmopolitan attempts to absolve themselves by stating they do not require their employees to travel by car. |

Plaintiff suing for $1500, the value of the policy plus penalties & interest. Defendant argues she has never furnished them with proof of her disability. |

Suing for $1,000 for loss and damage by fire, fees, and 25% of the amount insured as penalty for a breach of the policy. |
