View Entry | 1914 | Southern Insurance Co v. Mary Anderson | Hamilton | Insurance Disputes |
Opinion only; incomplete case. Anderson was Ernest Anderson's widow. He died from injuries incurred while during construction work on a lock and dam on the Tennessee River near Guild, Tn. While examining underwater portions of the dam, he put on a diving suit. He was knocked unconscious, revived, but then died of acute pneumonia. His job duties were meant to be supervisory only, & the insurance company refused to pay saying he was doing work beyond the scope of that insured. |
