Barrett of Boston, her children's father was Edmund Monroe. Barrett owned 20k acres of land at his death, leaving them to his widow, who divided & sold them to Edmund Monroe, who then died intestate. Conflicting deeds were discovered. Suit was filed to settle estate & land ownership.
