2 folders. James Gallagher and Mary Ann Gallagher had title to land in Memphis. The railroad company tried to "purchase the property," but was "unable to agree upon the value." The railroad company stated that "the company had been given the right of eminent domain for the condemnation of private property." Mary Ann Gallagher is listed as "non compos mentis." James Gallagher is her trustee and was "to hold said property in trust for the purpose of securing a homestead for said Mary Ann."

2 folders. Exhibit materials an affidavit of attending physician and a printed book of bylaws of the defendant. The defendant is a fraternal insurance organization. Plaintiff filed the complaint to recover an amount due by certificate with penalties for $2,000. The insurance policy was taken out for the plaintiff's son, Rasberry Newman (dec'd) but the amount of the $1,000 policy was never paid by the defendant.
