Thomas Person, a Rev. War soldier was to receive 960 acres. The heirs sold land to Brice M. Garner on Norris Creek, Lincoln County. Thomas Shute was not sure he could locate the land. The heirs of Caleb Hewitt believed that they owned part of same land. An agreement between Thomas Dillon and Thomas Shute to survey 21,580 acres of Military land is also enclosed. This came out of Thomas Armstrong office where the Middle District of land was laid out after the Revolutionary War. |
