Ahler bid on a project at the bank, & did the installation work at Jones' house so that he might recommend the bank hire Ahler. The pump was supplied at a much higher rate and Ahler sued to be relieved of the debt because it was not the price he had agreed to. |

Wilson contracted for advertising in the Herald, to increase sales at his store. Although the ads ran for weeks, Wilson failed to pay for the ads. He was accused of attempting to destroy or get rid of his store stock so it could not be taken as payment. |

They failed to pay the attorneys for services, and sued to recover the amount. |

Turnely traded livestock in order to pay his debts to Helms, but Helms was dissatisfied that the debts were not completely covered. |
