2 folders. Add. Plaintiffs: H.H. Sugg. Add. Defendants: Emma S. McKoin. Douglass's and Sugg sold McKoin a tract of land, for which a deed was made. McKoins wrote two notes for land along with probate, but payments were past due and plaintiffs state they are in the rights of the deed to sell the land for payment.

Additional Plaintiffs: William Duncan, John M. Bass and Samuel J. Keith. Plaintiffs were owners of lots in the "Hermitage Addition," to Nashville. Plaintiffs sold to defendant lots 1, 2, and 3 in block J of the Hermitage Addition. Recorded in book no. 57, pages no. 42 and 43 in the Registers office of Davidson County, Tennessee. Plaintiffs claim the defendant attempted to repudiate the purchase of said lots when the Nashville real estate market went down.

H.B. Dameron sold land through his real estate agent, R.A. Ezzell. The contract for the exchange of real estate stated "that the witness would have ten days within which to inspect the property, but that on account of severe storms, he was unable to make said inspection." "He accepted the contract in full without inspection, and a notation of this acceptance was signed by him on the contract." Sometime later, when the property was examined it was found to be "not what it was represented to be."

In the original warrant, Minerva Hailey alleged that Tolberta Battle failed to comply with the terms of a contract of sale "of house and lot #913 S. Cherry St. made April 3, 1895." Mrs. Hailey alleged a "plea of debt by damages." Mrs. Hailey sold the home and lot via auction, however the buyer, Ms. Battle, refused the sale claiming the deed was not valid.

Watkins (dec.) appointed Isaac Litton as executor to follow out his will that stated 10 acres of his property was to be deeded to the city for use as a public park. After his death, the city had failed to comply with several stipulations laid out in the contract and deed, including not introducing water or having a fountain and maintaining the grounds and fence enclosing the property.
