Brown (?), Millie Wilson (colored), and Thomas Hays. 2 brads not removed. Several sheets of browned pulp paper are fragile. |

Hunt, has brought a petition saying that the original sentence, for which Bob Hunt is now serving ten years in prison, is illegal and without authority of law, and he asks for a rehearing of the case. W. H. has also brought a petition of habeas corpus so his brother can be released for another hearing. |

Frazier is accused of assault with intent to commit murder for holding a six-year-old girl over a blazing fire until she was terribly burned over her entire back. One accusation is that he burned her to conceal the fact that he had already burned one of his newborn twins to death (he says it was the after-birth); another is that he was angry when she didn't bring him a needle he had asked for; another is that she slipped and fell backwards into the fire. |
