Case concerns a piece property owned by the plaintiffs on Market Street in Bolivar, known as the Commercial Hotel. Plaintiffs sued for rent owed to them by the defendants, choosing to sue under the "unlawful detainer" section of the code.

Wheeler sued Kelly for seizing an unlawfully detaining a Claybank mare from him during Civil War to his damage $300. Defendant claims horse was taken under orders from Colonel G.A. Goins while in line of duty. Court ruled in favor of defendant.

Plaintiffs: T. B. Ballow & Thomas Gresham. Additional defendants: Robert H. Perry , Joshua Perry, E. D. Sawyer, Tennessee Wiggins, A. W. Motheral, James Sawyer, Rufus Waller. Case involved a unlawful detainer made by the plaintiffs for a tract of land in in Williamson County known as Sally Armstrong property. The defendant was the agent for this property and said he was entitled to it.

Suit involves the sell of property known as the Boyd place for back taxes.

Additional Defendant: Fannie Campbell.

Plaintiff averring he his entitled to property of the defendant that was unlawfully detained: consisting of furniture and interior decorations.

Defendant unlawfully detained a farm animal rightfully belonging to the plaintiff. The specific type of animal is illegible. sued for the return of the animal and $200 in damages.

Hurst claimed that he was being detained from possession of a lot in Park Lawn Subdivision.

Defendants include Henry Sweeney, Samuel Williams, John A. Taliafero, Mary Randall, John R. Randall.

The plaintiffs originally sued for unlawful detainer and the judgement was rendered in their favor. The plaintiff was entitled to the possession of the land described in the warrant. Case file goes onto show that Gibbs requested a motion for a new trial. Defendant is a citizen of Georgia.

Case sought to clarify ownership of acreage at headwaters of Hickman's Creek & Caney Fork River. Also, tract of land, 434 acres in name of Anthony Hart. Land for action is in reality at Hilton's Creek, some miles distant.
