The plaintiff claims that a horse and buggy used for repair work on the street railroad was being driven dangerously on a busy street by defendant Frank Smith, and it struck him, causing severe and painful injuries and necessitating surgery and a long period of recuperation.

July 1875 a judgment was rendered against Mundy for $202.50 in favor of defendants on an account.

This folder has no case file -- only two briefs. The lawsuit concerns an incident from 1894 when the defendant is said to have driven his carriage into the plaintiff's buggy (rockaway), causing her to receive a number of injuries, including a severely broken arm of which she claims never to have regained the use.

Damages for personal injuries amounting to the sum of ten thousand dollars Everett Lee is a minor and sues by his next friend and father R.D. Lee. He was burned when he fell into a drain that was filled with hot water. The water was hot because it had come from a powerhouse filled with steam that was owned by the Railway Co.

Damages for cutting timber.

The plaintiff claims that his leg was broken as he got off an elevator in a building owned by the defendants. He insists that the elevator operator's negligence was responsible for his injury. File includes two legal briefs.

M.L. Whitelaw claims that J.H. Rowan owes her for rent for the year 1894 and 1895. The debt is under $500

Plaintiff sued due to damage to his property he claimed was caused by the rail road company building a new trestle and filling in surrounding land causing a water back-up on his property. Location is noted as boing on "Spring Creek" located between Gleason and McKenzie. Lawsuit was filed for $500 in damages.

Alsbrook filed suit against Fiser, a constable, and his sureties for debt due by failure of Fiser to collect and return an execution in favor of Alsbrook for S. P. Alsbrook v. Foster Washington and Lawson Washington.

T. D. Shell, deceased, was nursed by his sister, Mrs. Rebecca Ayler before his death, and is sued for wages rendered.
