Elizabeth was admr. of the estate of Gray Washington. Thomas had "unjustly detained" four enslaved people belonging to the estate named Winney Patsey, Mary, and Sally. Elizabeth sued to either recover the enslaved people, or their value. |

Gray owed Frederick Owen $168 & Mayfield was security on the loan. Gray became completely insolvent & left Tennessee. Mayfield was left to pay the debt. Stephen Sutton had a judgment against Gray for an additional $190. Mayfield sued to have the debt to Sutton discharged so that the debt owed him by Gray would be prioritized & repaid. |

Isham Uzzell then married Blackman's daughter Ann, & rec'd as a gift Winnah & Rachel, the children of Phillis.
