Witt owned farm in Ocoee District & entered into agreement with Grigsby for Grigsby to live on farm & maintain it for Witt's benefit until General Assembly passed law allowing occupant preference, at which point Grigsby should sell the occupant right & split the proceeds with Witt. Grigsby did just that, except he failed to pay Witt his half of the proceeds. Parties also had agreement for Witt to buy another Ocoee District tract & Grigsby would do the same with it, yet Grigsby failed to do so.
