Notes / Description:

Palmer bought an island on the south fork of the Holston River, in order to build a mill. This land cut into Stoffle's land, whom the tract was purchased from. Palmer was meant to pay for any trees he cut down, but not for the ones left standing. The two were in disagreement about the use and boundaries of property once building commenced.
