Andersons (mom & son) sued Richmond, whose land adjoined theirs, for breach of contract & allowing his stock to trespass on their field, thereby damaging the corn. Andersons said they had contract with Richmond that each would take care of their own stock since no fence between their respective farms. Justice of the Peace ruled for Plaintiffs, Circuit Court reversed & ruled for Defendants, & Plaintiffs appealed to SC. Witnesses: James Murray, U.R. Upchurch, W.G.
