Standefer with the plaintiff and John Healey as securities, given as consideration for the purchase of a tract of land due in 1861. Defendant later executed a deed of trust on the said land to secure the securities against their liability for the purchase money. The defendant failed to pay the note and had a rendered judgment against the securities in Chancery Court. Suing for funds due for the rendered judgment.
