Plaintiff is father of Willie Douglas Calhoun & is sued the railway company for $50,000, charging that on 10 Nov. 1903 his daughter was struck and killed by one of its cars as she was traveling home on horseback. Argues that accident was caused by defendant's negligence in allowing its cars to operate at too high a speed in well traveled areas. The persons operating the car also made no effort to warn of their approach.
