Annie Persica, by next friend, Charles Gallina v. F. L. Monteverde, Sheriff

Persica sued the sheriff to replevin property he had seized as result of a court judgment against Annie's husband John Persica. Items included bar fixtures from her saloon: counters, a whisky case, bar mirrors, ice boxes, an iron safe, a piano, and set of barber fixtures consisting of mirrors and 3 barber chairs. It was decided that the sheriff acted illegally because the saloon contents belonged to Mrs. Persica. There are 2 copies of the 10-page statement of case. Two sets of brads could not be removed.
