Cowan. 70-acre tract of land owned by Price was sold to satisfy Wilson's debt. Land was bought by Hiram & Alexander Brown, who sold it to wife of William F. Wilkerson. Wilkerson's claimed ownership of the 70-acre tract as well as another 8-acre tract owned by Price. Price claimed they got sheriff's deed to other tract through fraud.
