B. Seahorn and W.G. Seahorn were married, and the defendant was prone to getting into debt during their marriage, so most of their means was provided by her father, James Clark. Plaintiff was bequeathed five Negro workers, who were sold by the defendant, the profits from which went to paying his debts. Later during the marriage, the defendant began to beat the plaintiff, both with his fists and clubs, and treat her in an inhumane fashion. This bill is a motion for divorce and alimony.
