Notes / Description:

Benjamin Walker had been owner of a tract of land in Rhea county amounting to around 1,000 acres since July of 1873. Walker charged that the defendants trespassed upon his land cutting down timber, pealing away bark and hauling off to sell it for their own benefit and use. This was in unlawful violation of the rights of the complainant as lawful owner of the land. He asked for an injunction to prevent the defendants from trespassing on his land and cutting any timber or pealing back any bark. ET OV 15.
