Notes / Description:

Plaintiff is the widow of Roland Harkins. Her father Michael Hickman (dec.) gave her a tract of land in Sullivan County. Her brother Peter (dec.) suggested a trade of their two adjoining lands and a conveyance was made and the trade took place before his death. It was sold to the defendant to pay off debts of Hickman's estate. Since no new deeds were made for the trade of land, the defendant, who lived on the one property for 7 years, then attempted to eject Harkins from the one tract to the other.
