Stout resided in Randolph Co., NC, but gave plaintiff the impression that he intended to settle in Washington Co. on the land that he had purchased. Plaintiff later learned that he sold the land to Charles E. Kincheloe & believes the two to be involved in a plan to defraud Stout's creditors.
