Plaintiff, admx. of Hugh Buckner, charges Southern Railway with negligence in his death & is sued for $50,000 damages. On 2 May 1933 Buckner, an employee of the railway, was riding the company's locomotive back home from his work at the John Sevier Yards when the locomotive in which he was riding collided with a switch engine. Buckner died on 5 May 1933 of injuries sustained in the crash. Plaintiff accuses deft. of operating the locomotive negligently, thereby causing the accident.
