Robinson says he sold Osterhaut 1,000 cords of wood at $2.50 per cord, located on north side of TN River (2 mi from Chattanooga). Robinson says Osterhaut picked up some of it but refuses to pay for any of it saying he never agreed to buy it. Robinson attached Osterhaut's interest in 70 mules. A.F. Beach: Osterhaut worked with Beach for Col. John H. James; Beach mistakenly took Robinson's wood, thinking it was govt wood (located on south side of river on Capt Spiller's farm); Osterhaut not involved.
