Notes / Description:

Complainants sold a piece of land to someone named McLemore. McLemore did not fully pay for the land. In need of money, the plaintiffs borrowed $1800 from Boyle, the defendant, with agreement to pay back $2000 on a certain date. Since McLemore didn't pay plaintiffs , they couldn't pay the defendants. Somehow the defendants gained possession of the tract of land initially bought by McLemore and sold it for cheap to get their money owed by Hartley. Hartley is upset, saying the land was worth more.
