J.L. White sold to Altom a tract of land known as the White Place for $6500.00. The deed was never delivered to Altom, but was held by the bank until early in 1922 when it was necessary to register it. Before the deed was delivered, Altom became dissatisfied with the deed and refused to accept it. Altom had not made any payment nor accepted the deed. White went to Altom and said if he would close the matter, satisfy the bank, he would not insist on the $1000.00. 2 folders.
