Original bill filed 1911 indicates that McLain was a tenant of land owned by Tenn. Coal, Iron & Railroad Company (an add plaintiff). The 5,000 acres was located on the Cumberland Mt. in Sequatchie Co. The defendants were a partnership and seven individual employees. The plaintiffs claim that the def. took possession of the land and cut timber.
