Trespass on case/Seduction. Moore said Pearson "debauched and carnally knew" Moore's "daughter and servant" Nancy, causing her pregnancy, after which she died. Samuel McKenzie (Nancy's uncle, Moore's brother-in-law): Nancy lived with her dad except when employed elsewhere (as her dad was poor), & she took in sewing & quilting & did some work for tailor Joseph E. McKenzie (Sam's brother). At one point, Pearson boarded at Moore's. Reference to time of the Celebration of Sons of Temperance.
