Notes / Description:

Plaintiff was previously summoned before a judge to answer a suit filed by the defendant for a plea of trespass and damages in the sum of $3,000. The court found there was no cause for the suit and dismissed but was told to come back several more times as a witness for the defendant in the case. The plaintiff felt the area was unsafe at the time with Rebel sympathizers and did not attend and another court gave a judgment to the defendant for the damages. Filed this bill to prevent him from collecting.
